Sean Adams started his first lawn and landscape business in 1989 with no money, no clue, a borrowed station wagon and a used lawn mower. Sean has owned three different full service lawn and landscape companies providing a full array of services from landscape maintenance to fertilization and weed control for residential and commercial clients.

In 1999, Sean started this website with the intentions of helping other business owners in the industry grow their companies in an organized, efficient and profitable manner. In 2000 Sean began working with a website called LawnSite.com which he sold in 2006 but continued to grow and manage until 2012. Sean also started PlowSite.com back in 2003 which he also sold in 2006.

Today Sean is the author of The Lawn Letter and the industry blog, LawnBusinessReport.com. Sean was also recently named one of the “21 Most Intriguing People in Media” alongside other recipients from Facebook, Foursquare, Sports Illustrated, TV Guide and Rolling Stone.

Sean has been referred to as the “most influential person in the lawn and landscape industry” for his involvement, dedication and contributions.
